Pink Vail: Every Cancer, Every Color.
Every year, thousands of people come together in Vail, Colorado in an effort to raise money for the patients of the Shaw Cancer Center. With the help of skiers, snowboarders, sponsors, and participants, Pink Vail was able to raise and donate $850,000 to help treat cancer in the Vail Valley in 2019!
There were corporate sponsors writing big checks, little shredders emptying their piggy banks, and industry sponsors doing what they do best, supplying the event with endless gear for raffles and swag for the crowd. The goal is to bring together the many people touched by cancer who share a common love for skiing and snowboarding. To take those directly affected by cancer and help them become cancer survivors.
bigtruck® has been a partner of the event for 3 years, and we support everything that is Pink Vail. With our roots in ski culture, bigtruck® is committed to the health and wellness of the Tahoe community, and ski towns around the world.
Shaw Cancer Center is a service of Vail Health Hospital and supported by Vail Health Services Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3). 100% of Pink Vail donations and registration fees benefit all patients at Shaw Cancer Center through enhancements to patient care and patient programming.
All Shaw patients, whether male or female, no matter their cancer diagnosis, have the opportunity to benefit from Pink Vail funds throughout their cancer treatment experience and beyond. These unique services can dramatically impact a patient’s quality of life, but are not typically covered by insurance.
